Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What condition do my books have to be for us to send them to BookSlash, and receive the quoted price?
A: Books must be in good condition and cannot be a international, teachers or instructors edition.
For a book to be in good condition it must:
- Contain a minimal amount of writing/highlighting or other marking inside book. Small amounts (less than 10% of pages) are OK
- No/Very little physical damage. Small corner creases and normal wear damage is OK
- No missing or significantly torn pages or covers
- Odor Free
- Contain very little other damage
At BookSlash we go a long way to make sure that you get all your money and that we can deliver books to others in good condition. There will be no surprises, if your book fails to pass inspection we will notify you immediately. In most cases if the book can be salvaged we will offer you a more reasonable buyback amount. In rare instances where the books are unable to be salvaged they will be recycled and/or donated.
Q: Cool, I just set up a buyback, how do I get my money?
A: Great, BookSlash will send you a check or transfer money directly into your paypal account as soon as the items arrive and can be checked depending on the preferences you listed.
Q: How long does it take for you to check my books?
A: Typically we will do a check and process the funds to be transferred within 48 hours of arrival.
Q: I want to sell multiple books, can this be done?
A: YES! And we have "VCreds!" With VCreds! you get more money back for every additional book you send us in combined packaging. Sending multiple books in one order is the best way to get the most cash.
